First, the pupils got to know the team and learned more about their diverse areas of responsibility.
The head of the Gronau public library then read the children a story in which different countries, languages and cultural characteristics played a role. They talked about it together and took into account the children's cultural backgrounds. It turned out that almost every child speaks another language in addition to German at home.
At the end, the pupils were allowed to write down their own wishes on the subject of "For this" and leave a visible sign.
The visit was a wonderful experience for everyone. What was particularly pleasing was that we were even able to agree a cooperation for the next Reading Aloud Day.
A big thank you to the Integration Team of the City of Gronau for the friendly welcome, the open exchange and the enriching encounter!
