The children had the opportunity to choose their personal favorites from a variety of books in advance. Whether exciting adventures, funny animal stories or stories with valuable messages - there was something for every interest.
Not only did the school teachers read aloud, but there were also offers from the staff of the reading club, Ms. Kunze from the integration office and the police officer Mr. Knief.
The reading lesson was accompanied by creative activities. Some groups painted or did handicrafts after the story. After the reading story about the police, some children were allowed to take a look at the police patrol car together with Mr. Knief.
The reading day was once again a great experience. It not only showed how much the children enjoy stories, but also how valuable reading together is. For this reason, we not only organize a reading session on the nationwide Reading Aloud Day, but also four reading aloud days throughout the year.
