inform

We take your data protection seriously and treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations. As new technologies and the constant further development of this website may result in changes to this data protection declaration, we recommend that you read the data protection declaration again at regular intervals.

Definitions of the terms used (e.g. "personal data" or "processing") can be found in Art. 4 EU GDPR.

Person responsible and data protection officer

The responsible person pursuant to Art. 4 (7) EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) is Ms. Rahel Foerster. Contact details: see above.

Schools must appoint a data protection officer. For schools under municipal and state sponsorship (this is the case for us as a municipal elementary school), a data protection officer responsible for all schools in the school district is appointed by the responsible education authority. The school authority for the Borken district is responsible for us. Mr. Tim Bittorf has been appointed as data protection officer by the school authority. You can reach the data protection officer at the following e-mail address

  datenschutz.bor2@bdsb.nrw.schule

or at the postal address of the Schulamt für den Kreis Borken: Schulamt für den Kreis Borken, Burloer Str. 93, 46325 Borken with the addition 'der Datenschutzbeauftragte des Schulamtes'.

Encrypted data transmission

For data security reasons, the data between the server that stores this website and your computer is transmitted in encrypted form. You can recognize this by the fact that the address line of your browser begins with https and not http. If this so-called SSL encryption is active, the data cannot be read by third parties.

Collection and processing of personal data

You can visit this website without providing any personal information. In the case of merely informational use of the website, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following access data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure its stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f EU-DSGVO). Due to the anonymization of the data, it is not possible to draw conclusions about your person.

Access data

The website operator or page provider collects data about accesses to the page and stores them as "server log files". The following data is logged:
- Website visited
- Time of access
- Amount of data sent in bytes
- Source/reference from which you came to the site
- Browser used
- Operating system used
- IP address used (if applicable: in anonymized form)
The data collected is used solely for statistical analysis and to improve the website. However, the website operator reserves the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of illegal use.

Rights of the user

As a user, you have the right to request free information about what personal data has been stored about you. You also have the right to have inaccurate data corrected and to have processing of your personal data restricted or deleted. If applicable, you may also exercise your right to data portability (which is the right to obtain that personal data be transferred directly from one controller to another controller, where technically feasible). If you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. At present, we do not store any personal data (as would be the case, for example, when using a contact form). You can use our website exclusively to obtain information about our school.

Data deletion

Unless your request conflicts with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g. data retention), you have a right to have your data deleted. Data stored by us will be deleted if it is no longer required for its intended purpose and there are no legal retention periods. If deletion cannot be carried out because the data is required for permissible legal purposes, data processing will be restricted. In this case, the data will be blocked and not processed for other purposes.

Right of objection

Users of this website may exercise their right to object to the processing of their personal data at any time.

If you wish a correction, blocking, deletion or information about the personal data stored about you or have questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data or want to revoke consents granted, please contact the following e-mail address:
