After a warm welcome from Ms. Foerster and Ms. Borninkhof, we started with the first song "Get ready". Class 2a then recited a beautiful poem and received a lot of applause.
We then sang the song "Dicke rote Kerzen" together. This was followed by a joint performance by classes 1a and 1b with the song "Wir zünden Kerzen an" ("We light candles"), which many other classes also sang along to.
Finally, the well-known song "Feliz Navidad" filled the gymnasium with Christmas cheer. All the songs were accompanied by Ms. Sibbing on the guitar.
Ms. Foerster and Ms. Borninkhof bid farewell to all the children, parents and teachers as they left for their well-deserved Christmas vacations.
We are very happy about the nice get-together at the Advent singing and the atmospheric Advent season at our school and wish everyone relaxing vacations as well as happy and contemplative holidays! 🎄✨
