Equipped with gloves, bin bags and a few bin tongs, the pupils made an important contribution to keeping our environment clean. It was particularly important to the children that their campaign would reduce the risk of animals mistaking garbage for food. They also wanted to prevent waste from ending up in the sea via roads and rivers.
At the end of the collection campaign, both groups were very proud of how much garbage they had collected together. At the same time, the children were also shocked at how much waste they had collected in such a short time.
With their efforts, the green and red MeinDay groups have shown how important it is to take responsibility for our environment.
