Equipped with gloves and bin bags, which were provided as part of the campaign, the pupils worked hard to collect carelessly discarded garbage. Over time, a considerable amount was collected - a visible result of their joint effort.
The children had mixed feelings at the end of the campaign: On the one hand, they were very proud to have made an important contribution to a clean environment. On the other hand, it also made them think and sad to see how much garbage had accumulated in their immediate surroundings.
Taking part in "Gronau putzt sich raus" was therefore not only a practical campaign for environmental protection, but also a valuable experience that raises awareness of the need to treat nature responsibly in the long term.
