Under the leadership of Lisa Oude Lansink (school social worker), the student parliament will take place every month from now on. This is where all class representatives discuss what is currently important to their classes and what ideas they have to make school life even better. One of the points discussed in this democratic body was the desire to make our school building and playground look more colorful.
Although it is difficult to give the building more color, there was an idea for our schoolyard that we were able to implement quickly and with great joy: We could paint the ground with street chalk!
So today, all the classes came together in the schoolyard. Each child was given a piece of chalk and was able to make a personal contribution to our colorful schoolyard. Many worked together as teams and had very different ideas. The community experience was rounded off with sunshine and good music.
