In line with the subject "The forest", the children explored the plants and trees in their natural environment together with their teachers. The children found many of the things they had previously worked on in class in the forest, such as the forest floors, different types of trees, mushrooms, mosses and animals. The children were amazed at how big a tree can actually grow in the forest.
After a short break at the lovingly designed hut in the forest, the children were able to let off steam in a manageable forest area.
Equipped with a bag, they collected "forest treasures" along the way, i.e. particularly beautiful leaves, sticks or stones.
The children then used these treasures from the forest to create various forest mandalas at school. And the results are impressive! 🙂
