The training strengthens the children's self-assertion, resilience and determination. In a variety of exercises, they learned how to behave correctly in conflicts, treat each other with respect and clearly recognize their own boundaries. Topics such as "How do I deal with insults?", "What can I do if someone takes something away from me?" or "How can I direct my thoughts positively?" were dealt with in a playful way.
The children were very enthusiastic and were able to apply many of the skills immediately in everyday school life. This not only boosted their self-confidence, but also helped them to work together at school with their new superpowers!
What's particularly nice is that the superhero training will continue to accompany us throughout the rest of primary school. The content is revisited and deepened again and again so that the children can benefit from the experiences in the long term.
A big thank you to Laura Wigger for her dedicated and caring organization of the training - and of course to our little superheroes, who participated with so much joy and courage!
