Apple Pressing with the Gartmanns

For the children, it was a special experience to witness firsthand the process from apple to finished juice. They watched with great interest as the apples were first washed, then chopped, and finally pressed. Of course, they got to taste the freshly pressed juice right away—and it tasted absolutely delicious!

What was especially nice: This wonderful event took place at our school for the third time. Not only did the children learn a great deal about apples and how they’re processed, but they also got to see how a regional natural product is turned into a delicious drink.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Gartmann for their visit, their time, and their wonderful dedication. We are delighted by this lovely tradition and are grateful that they make such a special experience possible for our students every year.
